Rovada Red Currant

$10.00

This is the #1 red currant grown around the world. A vigorous compact bush 3-5 feet tall it’s well known for its high disease resistance, and exceptionally large clusters (strigs) of extra large juicy berries.

This late ripening variety avoids most late frost dangers to give dependable crops even in cooler areas.

In warmer climates, grow it in afternoon shade protected sites. In colder climates avoid frost pockets and severe winter exposure (open fields, big wind channels, etc.)

Plant this variety with Minnesota 52 to get yourself a large and dependable red currant crop you can harvest every year for years to come.

USDA regulations prohibit shipping of Ribes species to the following states: DE, MA, ME, MI, NC, NH, RI, SC, VA, and WV.
