Oregon Ash
$10.00
Fraxinus latifolia. This PNW native ash is commonly found in low lying valley flood zones with rich soil and mild climates. It makes a beautiful shade tree, can tolerate full sun or some shade and thrives on edges and along boundaries between alder stands and open meadows. Its striking fall color can be a bright gold to a rich deep red that is almost purple. Unfortunately, like all ash trees, it is susceptible to the ash borer, which is now present in much of the United States.
