Mannegian /Russian – J. regia cold hardy seedlings can be grown in zones 4-8 covering much of North America. They are fast growing early-producing trees with delicious, thin shelled buttery flavored nuts. Self fertile but needs a pollinizer for good nut production. Will set a larger crop if you plant 2 seedlings, 2 different grafted varieties or a seedling and a grafted tree.
Original nut/seed stock from Burnt Ridge Nursery; Cascade mother tree has medium large nuts with up to 56% kernel.
USDA regulations prohibit shipping of Juglans species to the following states: AR, AZ, CA, IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MO, MS, NE, TX, and WV.
